Transferring data using iCloud
- Tap on the gray color geared icon known as “Settings.” It is located on the home screen of your device.
- Now hit your Apple ID located at the uppermost section of the menu icon, which consists of your name and the image that you have uploaded.
- In case, you haven’t signed in to your account, sign in to your device through your specific ID and password.
- Press the iCloud tab situated inside the second option of the menu tab.
- Now you have to select any of the data types.
- Review all the data types by tapping the “Apps Using iCloud” tab. Here you will see a variety of data options like Calendar, Contacts, and Photos, etc.
- Slide the toggle bar to “On” mode to move any of the data to your new device.
- If the slide button is under “Off” mode, it will never backup your data to the new device.
- Now drag the slider down and hit the “iCloud Backup” option located at the lower portion of “Apps Using iCloud Section.” Turn the toggle button of iCloud backup to “On” mode.
- Next, press the “Back up Now” tab situated at the lower portion of your screen. Wait for a while until it takes a full backup of your older device.
